The first edition of Smart Stores Expo witnessed an interactive two-day conference dedicated to the industry. Several prominent speakers from reputed brands like Paris Gallery LLC, McArthur+Company, Safeer Group, Chalhoub group, NCC Group, Axiom Telecom, Sedar, Elo Touch Solutions, Xplace GmbH, Philips Lighting, Umdasch Shopfitting LLC and Retail Arabia took part in the Smart Stores Expo Conference during the first two days, held as part of the event.

A number of topics, such as big data analytics, digital integration of instore and online technologies, omnichannel retail, and innovative store design concepts, were discussed by the experts in the market and the delegates certainly went back with a lot of information.

Mohamad Jaber, Group Marketing and Communications Manager, Paris Gallery LLC, one of the leading retailer for multinational beauty brands, illustrated the strategies of boosting B2C sale to the region in the internet era opening the two-day conference and the session received overwhelming responses. Taiyab Ghafoor, Country Head, Axiom Telecom, who opened the session on the second day shed light on the digital era and how it is essential to devise strategies and pro-active solutions that will help retailers across the region to provide an ideal shopping experience to its customers. He also highlighted how Smart Stores Expo has provided retailers an ideal platform to discuss ideas and explore new ways and means to keep up with the rapid advancements in the digital space.
